PROJECT SOCCER

📖 ABOUT THE PROJECT
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many public schools closed, leaving parents juggling jobs and the role of educator. Keeping children engaged, motivated, and entertained at home became a challenge. However, this extra family time also created a unique opportunity to teach life skills that schools often leave until later in life.
Inspired by this, Ole Soccer Academy launched PROJECT SOCCER — a program designed to help parents teach their children the principles of good health through soccer and fun, interactive learning.

⚽ ABOUT OLE SOCCER ACADEMY
Founded in 2001, Ole Soccer Academy offers a fresh, inclusive approach to soccer. Our focus is not on trophies but on enjoyment, personal growth, and teamwork. We believe soccer is for everyone — and that teaching the sport means not only developing skills but also fostering discipline, mutual respect, and a love for the game itself.
Our philosophy values teamwork and respect over individuality and emphasizes understanding the sport’s rules and history to help players grow and adapt.

🔵 WHAT IS S.O.C.C.E.R.?
S.O.C.C.E.R. is a health and wellness program that combines soccer skills and science-based health education to combat childhood obesity and chronic diseases. As one of the fastest-growing and most accessible sports in America, soccer is the perfect platform for this mission.
With 20 years of coaching experience, I’ve seen how soccer can light up a child’s world. But I’ve also seen how what they eat and how they rest affect their energy and performance. This program teaches families about good health habits through six core values:
Sleep: Vital for children’s physical and mental development.
Optimism: Building confidence by expecting positive outcomes.
Creativity: Encouraging kids to be creative — even in the kitchen!
Cool: A state of positive, engaging, and contagious energy.
Eating Better: Making daily healthy eating a fun, rewarding habit.
Relaxation: Learning to balance play, life, and stress-free living.
